CatherineTCalabria

Catherine T. Calabria is an attorney with over twenty years of experience as an attorney and legal administrator.  Ms. Calabria’s practice focuses on real estate transactions, both residential and commercial, as well as issues related to elder law and life care planning.  We can assist you with the purchase or sale of a home, a refinance or reverse mortgage (for clients 62 and older), or the purchase or sale of a business or commercial property.

We welcome the opportunity to sit down to discuss the life care planning needs for you and your family.  This area of practice includes Wills, Living Wills and Powers of Attorney, as well as estate planning needs such as Medicaid planning, guardianships, VA benefits, asset preservation and long term care needs.    It is our goal to enhance the quality of life of the aging population, while maximizing their independence and supporting family relationships.

Life Care Planning

Life Care Planning

When you need to combine legal services with practical concerns and limitations, we will work with you to prepare a life care plan. This type of plan looks at your current situation, your family’s lifestyle, and your current as well as future legal needs. We can explore Medicaid planning, VA benefits, nursing home options, and home health care needs to address the concerns of the client and their family.

Real Estate

Real Estate

If you are selling your house and need guidance in the process of listing it for sale and completing the sales transaction, we have over two decades of experience in residential real estate, whether it is a house, condominium or co-op. We can assist you in the purchase of a new home, or the refinance of your existing mortgage. If you think a reverse mortgage may be an option for you, we can answer your questions and handle the transaction with you. Deed transfers and leases are also services we provide, as well as real estate services during the probate of an estate.

Elder Law

Elder Law

Services include review and revisions/updates to Wills, Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Directives. We can also assist you when a loved one passes away by handling the estate administration. If a loved one is ill or has lost the ability to care for himself, we can have a guardian appointed for that person. We are available to discuss your legal needs when planning for the future for you and your family.
